Stuck fetishism is a desire to view a subject who becomes trapped into an uncomfortable situation they have little to no control over.
While Stuck fetishism is considered a paraphilia, it cannot be considered a fetish, as that is defined as an attachment to a physical object or body part. There is no object at the center of focus in Stuck fetishism. Instead, it is a sexual excitement focused on an idea rather than an object.
Generally speaking, the excitement gained from Stuck fetishism is gained from the subject's unsuccessful efforts to release themselves. This makes it related to Sadomasochism and Bondage. The more deeply entrenched into their predicament, the more attractive it becomes to Stuck fetishists. Often the humiliation of the subject is a factor in desirability as well.
